We are honored to be joined by a special guest – Annamaria Sorricchio di Valforte, Co-owner of Tenute Barone di Valforte Vineyard in Abruzzo, Italy.
The vineyards of Tenute Barone di Valforte have belonged to the Sorricchio di Valforte family since the 14th century and extend for 128 acres in the heart of Abruzzo between the Adriatic Sea and the Apennine Mountains along Italy’s eastern coast. The centuries-old tradition, passion, and love for winemaking has influenced the production, refinement, and elegance of their wine. Annamaria joined her family’s wine growing and winemaking business with the mission and determination to share her family’s deep-rooted traditions and passion for wine with the international community.
In partnership with wine importers More Than Grapes and Krush Wines, our special guest Annamaria will discuss key components of each wine and explain the long, rich history of her family’s vineyard. Executive Chef Juan Urbieta has selected traditional Abruzzese
dishes from the upcoming regional menu to highlight during this five-course feast that will pair perfectly with these incredible wines.
