Step into the vines this September for the most anticipated culinary experience of the year at Roo Mountain Vineyards — our annual Harvest Dinner in the Vines on September 18th and 19th. As the sun sets over the North Georgia mountains and the vineyard begins to glow with the colors of harvest season, guests will gather among the grapes for an unforgettable farm-to-table evening celebrating the flavors of fall.
This immersive mountain gourmet dinner experience will feature a thoughtfully curated multi-course menu beginning with a locally sourced mushroom appetizer, followed by a fresh harvest salad from our gardens, a comforting autumn-inspired soup, and seasonal “Feather & Field” entrée selections inspired by the richness of Appalachian harvest traditions. The evening concludes with a warm apple harvest dessert celebrating one of Ellijay’s most beloved crops.
On arrival, guests will enjoy light tastings of Roo estate wines included with their ticket while hearing directly from our chef, local farmers, growers, and winemaker about the ingredients, wines, and stories behind each course. Surrounded by vines, mountain air, candlelight, and nature, this is more than a dinner — it is a celebration of harvest, craftsmanship, wine, and community. We will also offer wine and beer for purchase at an outdoor bar.
Tickets are $150 per person and seating is extremely limited to only 64 guests per evening. This event sells quickly every year and is considered Roo’s largest foodie event of the season.
