Husband-and-wife team Colby and Megan Garrelts built the Rye restaurant brand as an expression of their love for Kansas City, the Midwest, and the rich culinary region they call home.

The original Rye Mission Farms opened in Leawood, KS, in 2012, followed by Rye on the Country Club Plaza in 2017. While each location has its own footprint, both feature a comfortable take on urban farmhouse décor.
