As part of the 3daysofdesign, davidpompa partners with the Mexican chef Rosio Sanchez for a brunch at Sanchez in Copenhagen, on 10th June at 11:00 am.
The gathering also includes a presentation of the project at 10:00 and a conversation around process, tracing both practices, exploring how Mexican traditions and everyday rituals can be translate into a contemporary language.
Both Rosío Sanchez and davidpompa work from a shared cultural vocabulary shaped across different geographies. For the occasion, Sanchez presents a breakfast inspired by Mexico's traditional morning, filtered through a Danish sensibility. The menu centers on enfrijoladas with bayo beans, their earthy tone recalling natural clay, filled with requesón and finished with fresh cheese and sour cream. A seasonal beverage accompanies the experience.
The restaurant is inhabited by pieces from the Can Natural collection and presents the new piece Can Portable. Warm tonalities and tactile clay surfaces create a quiet dialogue between food and light.
