Making pasta from scratch is the ultimate playing-with-your-food experience. Kneading, rolling, cutting, shaping—we’re talking grown-up Play-Doh here. At this class we’ll gather in the Historic Barrel Room at Sebastiani where Chef Jack Herron leads guests through the magic of transforming flour and eggs into an amazing meal.
Guests will experience the process for adding farm fresh eggs to flour and kneading to create the perfect consistency. Then we’ll roll out the pasta, transforming half into fettuccine and half into ricotta-stuffed ravioli with everyone hands-on in all steps in the process.
Our handmade pastas would not be complete without sauces so we’ll create a delicate spring veggie with herb brown butter and a sausage and roasted tomato sauce. Each pasta will be expertly paired with our Sebastiani wines….
Our pasta lunch will be served with a fresh green salad and we’ll end our meal with a surprise sweet finish.
