Please join us for a “Bubbles & Bon Bons” wine-and-chocolate experience, hosted at the beautiful Kumari Chocolate Studio located in the North Loop of Minneapolis.
Over the course of the evening, wine educator Vanessa DeCourcy, DipWSET will guide guests through a tasting of six sparkling wines from six different regions—each with its own story, style, and sense of place. Adding to the experience, chef Janel Sharma will treat everyone to a tasting of her exquisite, handcrafted chocolates.
It’s going to be a joyful, indulgent, and delicious celebration of bubbles, artistry, and connection.

Local chocolatier Janel Sharma is the owner and chocolatier of Kumari Chocolate, located in the North Loop of Minneapolis. She has worked under Thomas Keller at Bouchon Bakery and Bouchon Bistro in Yountville, CA, and John Kraus at Patisserie 46 in Minneapolis. She now creates modern chocolate confections using traditional European techniques.
Vanessa DeCourcy, DipWSET is a Minnesota-licensed wine educator and co-owner of Sips Ensemble LLC, where she enjoys working with her husband to foster curiosity and community through the lens of wine. She has achieved the Level 4 (Diploma) certification with merit through the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and the Master-Level Champagne certification with highest honors through the Wine Scholar Guild (WSG).
