Sip & Swap is a relaxed clothing exchange celebrating style, sustainability, and community, held in honor of World Water Day. Each guest should bring 5–10 clean, gently loved items: clothes, scarves, jewelry, or accessories that have been hanging in your closet a little too long. Enjoy wine, tea, charcuterie, and great company while swapping for new-to-you finds, plus an enjoyable chat on sustainability.
Kay Lynn Hernandez, a wildlife biologist, environmental educator, and founder of Wilmington Outdoor Adventures will give a short talk on how re-wearing clothes helps the planet (and saves water). Her career spans marine conservation and protected-area management from the Florida Keys and the Caribbean to one of the world’s largest marine reserves at Palmyra Atoll, where she served as Preserve Manager for The Nature Conservancy. Today, she brings her passion for conservation, equity, and connection to nature to San Francisco.
Space is limited and reservations are needed. Any clothing left behind will be donated. Your entry fee helps us cover event costs and keeps the wine poured and the swap running smoothly.
