Experience an extraordinary mid-day Champagne Master Class led by Six Test Kitchen Sommelier John Seals — this edition exploring the history, vineyards, and winemaking traditions of Champagne through six distinctive cuvées from Champagne Geoffroy.
Join us for an intimate journey through one of the world’s most celebrated wine regions as we explore how Champagne is made, from vineyard and grape variety to blending, secondary fermentation, lees aging, dosage, and disgorgement. Along the way, we’ll discuss the history of Champagne and examine how differences in grape variety, vintage, vineyard site, élevage, and winemaking technique shape the wines in the glass.
Based in Cumières in the Vallée de la Marne, Champagne Geoffroy offers an exceptional lens through which to explore the diversity of Champagne. Our six-wine flight will move from the house’s multi-vintage Expression and traditionally macerated Rosé de Saignée through vintage Blanc de Noirs and Blanc de Blancs, before concluding with two site-specific Brut Nature Champagnes that showcase Meunier and historic field-blended varieties.
