We invite you to be among the first to experience what may soon become Sonoma County's newest recognized wine region.
On Sunday, September 6, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, join us for an exclusive grand tasting celebrating the proposed Pocket Peak American Viticultural Area (AVA) alongside some of the remarkable wineries helping define this extraordinary place.
While many wine lovers are familiar with appellations such as Alexander Valley or Russian River Valley, an AVA is an officially recognized wine-growing region distinguished by its unique geography, climate, elevation, and soils. The proposed Pocket Peak AVA encompasses a small collection of hillside vineyards in northeastern Alexander Valley, where rugged terrain, dramatic elevations, and diverse volcanic soils create wines of exceptional character and sense of place. This special evening offers a rare opportunity to explore the region before it receives official federal recognition.
Join us as we pour wines from:
• Skipstone
• Aperture
• Robert Young Winery
• Valette Wines
Meet the people behind these exceptional wines, discover what makes this emerging region so distinctive, and enjoy an unforgettable evening.
All ticket proceeds will benefit the Northern Sonoma County Fire Department, supporting the first responders who work tirelessly to protect our community and its treasured wine country.
We hope you will join us for this unique opportunity to celebrate an exciting new chapter in Sonoma County winemaking while supporting an important local cause.
We look forward to raising a glass with you.
