Join us at Spinasse for an evening celebrating the wines of Pecchenino, a family-run estate in Piedmont’s Langhe that has been crafting wines for generations. With roots dating back to the late 19th century, the winery remains in the hands of the Pecchenino family, now led by brothers Orlando and Attilio and their next generation.
We are honored to welcome winemaker Orlando Pecchenino, visiting from Piedmont, who will guide guests through a four-course dinner paired with a selection of Pecchenino wines, including from the library selection! Known for balancing tradition with thoughtful, minimal-intervention practices in both vineyard and cellar, the Pecchenino family has built an international reputation for wines of structure, purity, and an unmistakable sense of place. This is a rare opportunity to experience these exceptional bottles alongside the winemaker himself in an intimate setting.
We will be pouring:
1. '19Alta Langa Brut "Psea"
2. 2022 Siri d'Jermu Dolcetto
3. 2020 Le Coste di Monforte Barolo
4. 2008 Le Coste di Monforte Barolo
Menu served family-style:
Antipasti: Taleggio crespelle with prosciutto cotto
Primi: Tonnarelli with pork sausage, kale and tomato sauce.
Secondi: Barolo braised beef cheek with celery root puree
Dolci: Bonet with amaretti and almond cream
