Standing Stone Vineyards is located on the Eastern slopes of Seneca Lake and is integral to the heritage of the Finger Lakes region. First planted in the early 1970s, the winery was established in 1995. In 2017 Fred Merwarth and Oskar Bynke, the owners of fellow Finger Lakes winery Hermann J. Wiemer Vineyard, purchased the Standing Stone property. Today, their production showcases all that this historical site has to offer, from classic styles made from some of the oldest vinifera plantings...
