Ray Isle’s The World in a Wineglass Tasting Event at Stonestreet Estate Vineyards
Stonestreet Estate Vineyards cordially invites you to join us for a memorable evening as we welcome renowned author and Food & Wine magazine’s executive wine editor, Ray Isle, to celebrate the release of his newly launched book - The World in a Wineglass: The Insider's Guide to Artisanal, Sustainable, Extraordinary Wines to Drink Now – featuring Stonestreet.
During this intimate event, guests will have the opportunity to meet Ray, enjoy tastings of select Stonestreet wines that are recommended in his book and hear from owner Chris Jackson and winemaker Kristina Shideler on their vision for crafting exceptional quality wines from the world-class Alexander Mountain Estate.
The event will take place from 4:00pm – 5:30pm on Thursday, February 1 at Stonestreet Winery. Tickets are priced at $75 per person and include wine and hors d'oeuvres. The purchase of 3 or more bottles includes a signed copy of The World in a Wineglass (a $50 value), while supplies last.
Ray’s debut book is a celebration of a specific realm of wines that highlight grapes grown with care, are produced with concern for the environment, express character of the place they are from, and reflect the sensibility of the people who were involved in the making. Author: Ray Isle is the longtime executive wine editor for Food & Wine as well as the wine and spirits editor for Travel + Leisure. He writes Food & Wine’s monthly “What to Drink Next” column as well as regular feature articles for Food & Wine and Travel + Leisure’s print issues. His writing has appeared in Departures, Wine & Spirits, Time, the Washington Post, and many other national publications. He has won the IACP award for narrative beverage writing three times, the American Food Journalists award for beverage writing, and the North American Travel Journalists Association gold award, and has been nominated three times for a James Beard Award in beverage writing. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
