We are excited to announce a very special wine dinner, hosted by Kate Ayres, the winemaker for Penner-Ash Wine Cellars — one of the iconic estates of Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Founded by Lynn Penner-Ash, one of the first female winemakers in the region, in 1998, they built a reputation for lush, layered Pinot Noir, hard work and unyielding commitment, and community leadership throughout the valley.
Oregon native Kate Ayres worked harvests previously in New Zealand, Portugal, Australia, and briefly at home in Oregon with Bethel Heights before taking a position at Hess Collection in California in 2011. The Pacific Northwest called her back in 2016, and she quickly rose to her current role as Winemaker at Penner-Ash in 2018.
Our kitchen team is crafting a unique six-course menu to pair with five of Kate’s wonderful wines. We will start with delicious white wines and then feature a selection of Pinot Noirs from across Willamette Valley, including a library wine released just for our event!
