Shota Nakajima’s ‘Cooking with Friends’ presents: Kokoson Seattle featuring James Beard semi-finalist Chef Shota Nakajima (Taku, Seattle), Chef Jamie Tran (Black Sheep, Las Vegas), James Beard semi-finalist Chef Maria Mazon (BOCA Tacos,Tucson), Chef Byron Gomez (7908 Aspen, Aspen).
The “Top Chef” alums will be presenting an Asian and Latin-American inspired multi-course meal inspired by Kokoson, the chefs’ winning concept for ‘Restaurant Wars’ as seen on the critically acclaimed Season 18 of “Top Chef.” The dinner has a special Northwest twist incorporating locally foraged mushrooms into each course.
The dinner begins with an amuse bouche from Chef Joe Sasto, formerly of Lazy Bear and Top Chef Seasons 15 and 17, and is followed by 7 courses from the Top Chef Kokoson team.
A post-dinner VIP reception will offer a mix and mingle with the chefs plus cocktails and bites. VIP tickets are available in limited quantities for an additional $80 per person.
Tickets: Dinner tickets are $420 per person including wine. VIP tickets are $500 per person, including the dinner and access to the exclusive chef-attended reception with bites, cocktails, and a chef chat moderated by Joe Sasto.

COVID-19 Safety Measures: Proof of vaccination is required to attend, or proof of a negative PCR COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the dinner on November 21, 2021. Full vaccination must have occurred at least 2 weeks prior to the dinner date to be admitted.
