I'll Have What He's Having, A Book & Wine Dinner with Adib Khorram
Adib Khorram is an award winning author who is from and resides in Kansas City, Missouri (he is also a Tannin Wine Club Member). His first novel, Darius The Great is Not Okay, won the William C. Morris Debut Award, the Asian/Pacific American Award for Young Adult Literature and a Boston Globe-Horn Book Honor. His newest novel (for adults), I’ll Have What He’s Having, is set at a wine bar in Kansas City, on Walnut Street, near the Kauffman Center light rail stop.
Chef Brian Aaron and the team will prepare a 5 course meal inspired by dishes from the novel (both classic wine bar fare alongside Persian dishes) and Tannin will pair each course with a wine featured in the novel (or a suitable alternative). Each attendee will also receive a copy of I’ll Have What He’s Having.
Why not hang out with the writer at one of his favorite wine bars while enjoying the same food and wine that Adib Khorram describes in his newest novel?
