Founded in Rutherford nearly five decades ago, Grgich Hills gained international fame when Miljenko "Mike" Grgich crafted the 1973 Chateau Montelena Chardonnay, named the finest white wine at the legendary 1976 Judgment of Paris. Since then, the winery has upheld a commitment to organic farming and world-class wines known for balance and elegance.
