Woldy Reyes brings his creative cuisine to the field for our dinner series, a one night only event under the canopy of our 20ft hops!
One of New York's brightest culinary talents, Woldy Reyes is the Chef and Founder of Brooklyn's renowned boutique catering company, Woldy Kusina.
Woldy’s cuisine is centered around a simple philosophy — to provide good food and good experiences, with sustainability and culture at the heart of it all. As a first-generation Filipino American, Reyes effortlessly infuses contemporary dishes with vibrant flavors and colors that are inspired by his roots. Using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, his menus are best described as fresh, natural and fulfilling.
Woldy Kusina is recognized as one of New York’s top caterers and has been featured in goop, The New Yorker, Wall Street Journal, Food and Wine Magazine and VOGUE with a noteworthy clientele that includes brands like J.Crew, West Elm, Kosas, and Well+Good. His cooking has been highlighted on the TODAY Show and deemed by New York Times as an invigorating culinary experience that is “more about passion than precision.”
This intimate dinner, limited to only 20 people, is a fundraiser to support the operations of The Hoppy Acre. As a value added farm, all of our produce goes to products to be sold later in the year. Money raised at this dinner will help pay the farmers and help with the upfront costs of bringing our Springs Fireplace brand hot sauce and salsas to market.
The meal will be preceded by a cocktail hour with passed hors d'oeuvres and followed by dessert and drinks by the fire. We will also feature a selection of wines and spirits as well as beer from Springs Brewery in East Hampton. The brewery uses Hoppy Acre hops when possible.
See you in the field!
