TALKING FOOD AT 1900 is a series aimed to engage, challenge, and educate on a variety of topics in the food world, hosted by the 1900 Building and Restaurant, and food writer/photographer, Bonjwing Lee.
For our seventh installment in our Talking Food at 1900 series, we are focusing on our farmers and local purveyors, without whom, The Restaurant at 1900 would not be able to operate. We are delighted to welcome Carol Maddick from Campo Lindo Farms, Katie Dixon from Green Gate Family Farm, as well as others crucial to feeding our guests, and our city.
This is a one-day, ticketed event with a late afternoon discussion and dinner to follow. The dinner from Chef Linda Duerr and her talented team will utilize our guest farmers’ products and be paired with purposeful wine selections by our Beverage Boss, Doug Frost. If you purchase seats for the dinner, you may attend the afternoon discussion beforehand at no additional charge.
Please note, we will not be able to accommodate dietary restrictions; if you have any please contact The Restaurant before booking. Seating for this event will be communal; if there is a particular guest you would like to be seated with, please let us know in the questions portion of booking and we will do our best to seat your parties together.
