The Townsend Hotel invites guests to discover the Art & History of Afternoon Tea with certified etiquette instructor Courtney Opalko. Enjoy fine, loose rolled teas and satisfying seasonal fare while Mrs. Opalko walks through the stories and customs that have come to shape Afternoon Tea as we enjoy it today. Guests will also learn how to master Afternoon Tea etiquette, a skill which encourages confidence, community and connection.
This special event includes a short presentation, an opportunity for personal Q&A with the instructor and an exquisite Afternoon Tea at The Townsend Hotel.
