Paris is one of the best walking cities on earth and just so happens to have wonderful food and wine. I am so happy to be going back again this Spring. I have planned a special trip. We will enjoy some restaurants owned and operated by chefs who left Michelin institutions to peruse their dreams in opening a spot of their own. Join me as we explore restaurants that bleed passion serving great food and wine. Of course we can't go to Paris and not have a 3 Star Michelin dinner as well. Each night we will indulge and learn as we eat and drink through some of Paris's best spots. During dinner I will teach about 10 wines each night discussing the wine making methods, varieties used and market positions. We will stay in a free standing Michelin 3 key hotel. The Saint James is a walled Chateau with gardens in Paris's 16th arrondissement.
April 12th
7pm Welcome Champagne Dinner- I will teach how to detect grapes used, vintage, place of origin and winemaking methods.
April 13th
7pm Understanding Market Position- We will discuss and tastes 10 wines from mid-tier to benchmark collectibles. I will discuss the markers from quality from the vineyard to bottling.
April 14th
7pm Michelin 3 star Dinner- 10 wines the represent celebration, from bubbles to 100 point wines. We are focused on celebrating great wines with great stories.
April 15th
7pm Farewell Dinner- 10 of my favorite French Wines from that have adored over the years. I love tasting certain wines that take me to times in my life as well as the exact place where they are produced. This dinner is a tour of my favorite 10 French wines.
