Kirk Venge, one of California's most respected winemakers, is joining us for a tasting of his wines from Venge Vineyards and Croix Estate including his incredible line up of Napa Cabernet, Sonoma Pinot, old-vine Zinfandel, and Ritchie Vineyard Chardonnay.
Two wineries, two very different sides of California wine, and Kirk pouring eight selected wines (by Kirk of course!) with stories from the vineyards. All paired with Chef Paul's savory canapes.
Kirk is a 3rd generation winemaker raised in Rutherford and received his degree in Viticulture and Enology from UC Davis. Kirk's father, Nils, made wine history as the first American winemaker to receive a 100-point score from Robert Parker.
