Our April cooking class will showcase Japanese ideas through our French-ish lens. This will assuredly be a unique afternoon! If exploring the uses and flavors of tare, ideas for an
atypical dashi, and a chawan mushi royale mash-up get your motor running,
this is a class for you. While in no way are our Chefs schooled in traditional
Japanese technique, they've learned a myriad of interesting ideas along
their paths that meld the two cuisines together.
As always after our cooking class, we’ll sit down and enjoy a three course lunch with paired beverages to highlight the topics of the day. We’re picturing an American Made Japanese Rice Lager, a conversation about Sake, and how we utilize Japanese Spirits in our bar
program, all of which should make for excellent conversation over lunch.
