We are very excited to welcome Christopher Sealy for a 2 night collaborative event at Affinity Fish.
You may have heard of Chris, he was named Canada’s best sommelier in 2019 by @Canadasbest100, @michelinguide SommToronto in 2022. Or you may recognize him from his long held position at Alo restaurant for over 10 years.
“Parcelle Wine Studio by Christopher Sealy was born from a desire to share a lived experience in the wide world of wine with a greater audience, a public, the people, an individual like you who might be reading these words. It is an invitation, a bridge between the expertise I have cultivated over the years and the curiosity you may hold about wine—its origins, its nuances, its ability to transport us to different places through scent, taste, and memory.”
We Met Christopher years ago as a customer buying fish from us. He had expressed interest in what Jon and I were doing here at affinity, but it wasn’t till a mutual friend / Chef @Imruntexiera brought up the idea of us doing a dinner together that we started to play around with the idea of Chris curating a full wine pairing for our menu. We are super excited to see what he comes up with as we will be doing the same Oden style menu that we have on offer from the rest of the month.
Christopher’s palate is certainly a special one, and we’re excited to have the unique experience of pairing wine with Japanese flavours, let alone with Oden made from our pristine Canadian seafood.

The Format for this meal will be as follows:
-$150, 8 course seasonal, Oden inspired menu with Canadian produce and seafood.
-$100, 8 course curated wine pairing by Parcelle Wine Studio.
-Total ticket cost will be $250 with the included pairing.
-20% gratuity / service fee charged per ticket on the day ($50).
-Additional Dessert pairings available.
-Full drink list available: Beer, Wine, Sake, Mead, Non Alcoholic beverages.
