On Sunday, June 27th chefs Gus Romero and Lucas Rosenbrook will create a 3-course, 5 dish menu celebrating Mexican cooking traditions and the timeless flavors of corn and chiles. $49/per person. A la carte beverages, wellness surcharge & taxes will be charged night of the event.
Gustavo Romero's story is rooted in Tulancingo, Hidalgo MX where the seeds for his heirloom corn evangelism were planted. It took culinary stops in Miami, Atlanta, SF, Florence, Oakland to finally get him to plant roots again, this time in Minneapolis. After COVID crashed the restaurant industry, he pivoted to making superfood corn tortillas using heirloom corn and traditional nixtamalization techniques to bring more authentic tortillas and masa to home cooks, restaurants and grocery stores in the Twin Cities. He and his chef wife operate a takeout only joint in NE Minneapolis serving tacos y mas for limited hours during the week.

-Mains: duck confit gordita with roasted jalapeno and braised lamb sope with pinto beans
-Dessert: masa crepe with piloncillo caramel, strawberries, mezcal sea salt
The entire menu is gluten free. No additional dietary restrictions can be accommodated at this dinner.
