Join us for our second Cartagena Wine & Dine Tour, a four day, four night experience hosted by leading wine writer & expert, Julia Coney and with Portia Hart, founder of Blue Apple Beach. Each ticket includes:
- two nights at Townhouse Cartagena
- two nights at Blue Apple Beach
- all tours
- all meals and drink pairings
The price of $2,500 is for 1 person in a single accommodation. If booking for 2 people sharing, please select 1 Ticket and add the supplement of $1,500 in the next stage of the process. If you would like to pay in instalments, please contact us for the code.
The focus of this tour is gastronomy, culture, relaxation and of course, wine. Throughout, guests will enjoy pairings from South America, locally produced liquors and Colombian fruit wines, curated by Julia Coney.
Your weekend begins in Cartagena with a tour of the city’s signature street food and cultural sights and a two night stay at Townhouse, a boutique hotel in the heart of the Walled City. You’ll enjoy a multi-course dinner at a World’s 50 Best restaurant, along with a curated wine tasting with Julia Coney, featuring the best in South American wines. We’ll travel to the historic village of Palenque - the first town for formerly enslaved Africans in the Americas – exploring the culture through food, music, herbalism and art. After two nights, we head to the island of Tierra Bomba, a 20 minute boat ride from Cartagena, staying at the celebrated Blue Apple Beach, whose Mediterranean-Caribbean fare has been featured in Travel & Leisure, AFAR, Harper’s Bazaar and more. You’ll end the weekend with a lively beach BBQ on Sunday, hosted by Chef Pedro Mosqueda at Amare Beach, enjoying live music, dancing and flowing wine, before heading back home on Monday (or maybe staying a few extra nights in vibrant Cartagena, exploring Colombia or simply relaxing at Blue Apple).
