Join us at Dobbes for the annual Toy Drive in honor of Aaron Bowlby. Enjoy music by local celebrity, Jacob Westfall, while enjoying pizza cooked onsite to order. We will be selling wine by the glass and bottle, with proceeds going to the foundation. Please bring an unwrapped toy and receive a complimentary glass of wine.
Newberg Toy and Joy -
This program began in a firefighter’s garage in 1929. The goal was to provide presents for Newberg area children who without this program would not receive anything for Christmas. Through yearly fundraising efforts and incredible community support, the program has expanded and continued. In 2017, approximately 900 children received multiple gifts. This is truly an amazing program!
Aaron Bowlby started participating in the program in the year 2000, and passed away shortly thereafter. This tradition has been carried on by his family and loved ones, and all toys and proceeds are donated on his birthday- December 1st
