I’m so excited to share this special winemaker dinner with Tadeo Borchardt.
Tadeo and I have a long history together. We first met years ago while working at Restaurant Hapa in Scottsdale, and not long after, we found ourselves as roommates in Napa. At the time, he had just begun working at Neyers, and I was fortunate enough to witness harvest with him firsthand on a couple of occasions. That experience left a lasting impression on me and played a meaningful role in shaping my own journey into the wine world here in Arizona.
Throughout the years, Tadeo has been incredibly generous with his time and knowledge, always willing to answer my many rookie questions — and truthfully, I’m still asking them. Beyond being one of the kindest and most genuine people I know, he’s also an immensely talented winemaker. It means so much to me to share this evening with you and to celebrate his work around the table.
