Founded in 1892, Hussong’s Mexican Cantina is famously known as “The Bar That Built A Town.” What began as a small saloon in the fishing village of Ensenada, Mexico—opened by German immigrant Johann “John” Hussong—has grown into one of the most legendary cantinas in North America. More than 130 years later, the original location still stands in Ensenada and remains family-owned.
