HGTC Hosts Chef for Exclusive Dinner Event at International Culinary Institute
Chef Lorenzo Polegri otherwise known as the Farmerchef, will be visiting HGTC, working with students and faculty February 4th to 8th and will be hosting an exclusive dinner event at the International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach (ICI) to support the Study Abroad Club. on Friday, February 7th at 6:30 pm. Chef Lorenzo is the owner of Casale Polegri which is in Baschi, Italy. Lorenzo is a true Italian FarmerChef, with over 30 years of experience in classic and avant-garde Italian cuisine. His name is linked to the restaurant and cooking school "Zeppelin" of Orvieto. He has collaborated and collaborates with institutions such as The James Beard Foundation, The American Culinary Federation, The Italian Canadian Foundation, The White House, The United Nations, and Harvard University. Chef Lorenzo considers himself a cook lent to agriculture, or vice versa.
