Lumache is a 16 seat Italian restaurant in downtown Victoria that showcases the best ingredients and artisanal products we can find on Vancouver Island, through the lens of traditional Italian cooking.

We specialize in handmade pasta, a thoughtfully curated wine list and traditional northern Italian cuisine. Lumache is the Italian word for Snails. The name reflects our commitment to artisanship and slow food practices.

Thanks for connecting with us regarding a potential reservation! Our reservations book up very quickly (within 15 minutes of being released) so that if there is not a reservation coming up then that day is currently sold out! We release the reservations on the first of the month at Noon (12:00pm) for the following month (June 1st for July, etc.) On sold-out days, Tock will indicate this and display a 'notify' button you can select. This adds you to the 'notify' list, and we will contact people on this list first if there are any cancellations, which happen frequently.
