Delbert Bump Jazz Quartet
Enjoy a free evening of jazz at Mäksē Restaurant’s Speakeasy in Downtown Vacaville with the Delbert Bump Jazz Quartet! This talented group performs original Bump Jazz compositions, showcasing Delbert Bump’s renowned piano, keyboard, and jazz organ skills. With seven CDs and numerous recordings, Bump’s unique style shines through his work for big bands, combos, TV, and radio, earning him multiple awards. A retired music professor from Solano Community College and UC Davis, he leads an organ trio, Latin sextet, and organ-driven big band while maintaining a busy performance schedule locally and nationally. Embrace his motto: "Keep Swingin'... the goal is the journey and the music you make..."
