Dafne Mejia was born and raised in Los Angeles, California with 12 years of experience in numerous culinary cuisines and specializes in traditional Italian cuisine. A first-generation American, born from Honduran immigrants, Dafne started her career by following the American Dream, seeking to fulfill her parents’ hope for a better life in the land of opportunity.
Since moving back to Los Angeles in 2015, Dafne has cooked as a private chef for Aubrey ‘Drake’ Graham, Kid Cudi, Leonardo Di Caprio and many more high-profile clientele that catapulted her career to the next level.
In 2023, Chef Dafne finished strong on Season 21 of Hell’s Kitchen as the runner up. Gordon Ramsey loved her Uni Polenta so much, he credited her with starting a phenomenon. While competing on the show, Dafne won the taco challenge with actor Danny Trejo as guest judge. Her winning taco was showcased at Trejo’s Tacos for a limited time.
