This class marks the start of an exciting journey into the world of culinary arts, where you'll learn one of the most fundamental and crucial skills in the kitchen: how to handle and use knives like a pro. Whether you're a complete novice or someone looking to refine your chopping, slicing, and dicing techniques, this class is designed to boost your confidence and efficiency in the kitchen.
Roll up your sleeves, and let's get ready to slice and dice our way to culinary success!
Take this fun and interactive class to:
• Try out a variety of knife brands, shapes and styles to find one that you are comfortable using.
• Learn how to hold a knife properly and safely.
• Learn and practice common knife cutting techniques (baton, dice, julienne, brunoise, etc.)
• Learn and practice less common knife cutting techniques (chiffonade, paysanne, roll, etc.)
• Learn and practice knife cutting techniques for irregular fruits and vegetables.

THE FINE PRINT:
1. Classes are for participants 16 years and older.
2. Class participants are required to wear closed toed shoes.
3. Class participants will be provided with an apron and all necessary tools and equipment.
