Discover the world of wine in our four class Wine 101 series! Build your confidence from vine to glass as you explore how wine is made, climate, soils, viticulture, and common wine faults. Learn to taste like a pro by understanding fruit, tannins, acidity, sweetness, body, and wine styles. Explore classic grape varieties, aging, and the world’s great wine regions. Finish with food and wine pairing, sommelier shortcuts, and practical tips for choosing the perfect bottle for dinner.

Schedule | Classes will be held from 6pm-8pm as below:
Monday October 19: Wine Basics
Monday October 26: Wine Tasting
Monday November 2: Wine Grapes and Styles
Monday November 9: Wine and Food Pairing
THE FINE PRINT:
1. Participants must be 19 years and older.
2. Class participants will be provided with all necessary tasting materials.
3. Content of each class and instructor is subject to change as required.
4. Light snacks are provided to accompany the wines being tasted.
5. Classes are held at the School's Kitchens at 136 Ontario Street, Stratford, ON from 6-8pm.
6. All pre-paid reservations are non-refundable. You are able to transfer to someone else.
7. If you are feeling unwell or unable to attend due to inclement winter weather, please contact admin@stratfordchef.com to discuss alternate options.
