Throughout this series, we are partnering with food producers and chefs from a variety of backgrounds and influences to showcase their unique culinary and beverage achievements. For our third annual Supper Series, we are highlighting local and regional foodways and food producers, the people on the ground who bring food to the table. As the weather warms and the summer crops start to harden, David Hunsaker from Village Garden RVA is coming to Veritas to share his love of tomatoes with us! With over 20 years of farming experience, David and Barbara Hunsaker have cultivated more than 400 varieties of tomatoes and 100 types of chiles. In 2021, he launched the Summer Supper Somm Series, celebrating his produce alongside Virginian wines. Is the event 21+? Yes. This is an adults-only affair.
What will there be to drink? Each course will be accompanied by wine pairings that are included in your event ticket. Soft drinks and water will also be available and are included in the ticket price.
How will you be handling food allergies and dietary restrictions?
Supper Series Chefs will be presenting a set menu, and substitutions will be limited.
Dietary allergies and restrictions are due 72 hours to Veritas Staff. Veritas can accommodate most restrictions: milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, and sesame. If you have any changes or concerns, please email us at contact@veritaswines.com
