Join us for our Strange Magic Winemaker's Dinner on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 6:30 PM at our tasting room in Dundee. At this dinner, we will be pairing five of our rarest wines with wood-fired culinary artistry from Portland chef Joe Rodriguez. This dinner will also be the introduction of our new 2024 Strange Magic Chardonnay, an astonishing two-barrel selection from Thirsty Boots Vineyard. This dinner is limited to 24 guests maximum. About Chef Joe Rodriguez:
Joe was born and raised in Indiana with a curious mind and a hunger for knowledge and new experiences. His lifelong career in food was born in Manhattan, where he worked at the famed vegan restaurant Angelica Kitchen before becoming enchanted by the world of chocolate. Joe honed his craft alongside master chocolatier Jaques Torres, then moved across the country to become head chocolatier at Portland’s beloved Alma Chocolate before delving into the specialized world of bean-to-bar production at Woodblock Chocolate. Most recently, Joe was the Chef de Cuisine of Tournant, transforming seasonal food from farm to fire for many of the Willamette Valley's top wine programs.
