A native of Switzerland, Daniel Hum was exposed to food at a very young age and began working in kitchens at 14. From there he spent time in some of the finest Swiss hotels and restaurants before earning his first Michelin star at the age of 24. He became executive chef of Eleven Madison Park in 2006, eventually purchasing it in 2011. Under his leadership, Eleven Madison Park received numerous accolades, including seven James Beard Foundation Awards, three Michelin stars, and the #1 spot on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list in 2017. He is the author of "Eleven Madison Park: The Cookbook," "I Love New York: Ingredients and Recipes," "The NoMad Cookbook," and "Eleven Madison Park: The Next Chapter."
Alison Arth is a life & leadership coach dedicated to helping people who are over the overwhelm of leading in the hospitality profession. She works with leaders to craft clear visions for their lives and businesses so they can experience more of the good stuff inside and outside of work.
