Mother’s Day Promotion Ideas for Restaurants

Mother’s Day is one of the busiest times of year for the hospitality industry. Make this one a hit. Get inspired by other wineries and restaurants on Tock.

Brunch, brunch, brunch
A bit of a no brainer, but brunch is the name of the game when it comes to Mother’s Day. The Farmhouse at Ojai in California is going out all out with a grand buffet ensuring mom will be pleased (and well fed). Their offerings include pastries, omelets, waffles, alongside ham, wagyu brisket, and turkey carving stations. California’s Navio’s restaurant is hosting an à la carte brunch with an impressive selection of seafood, farmer’s market salads, and AM favorites with a seasonal spin.

Tea time, anyone?
Offer elegant experiences made to pamper moms. A delightful midday activity? Afternoon tea. Take a note from The St. Regis Atlanta, as their elevated tea service also includes live entertainment and a delicate arrangement of petit fours.

Make use of your outdoor space
With nicer weather ahead, make the most of your outdoor space. Last year, Truett Hurst invited moms to picnic, drink wine, and say hello to animals on their farmland. Canada’s Grizzli Winery hosted a family-friendly cinema on their lakefront property with bottles of wine, freshly popped popcorn, and food trucks. But if you don’t have a farm or a vineyard outback, no problem. Play up your outdoor space—think twinkling lights, flowers, or live music—to make your guests feel special.

Create memorable experiences
Engage with your guests and create memories they are sure to cherish. DRNK Winery is celebrating Mom with a bouquet making workshop and a pottery class, centered around their vino.

Collaborate with your community
Connect with businesses in your local community to draw new audiences and create new experiences. Maryland’s Black Ankle Vineyards is partnering with local bakery, Daddy Boy Bake Shop, for a collaborative vino and pastry flight. For an added touch (and extra revenue), guests can add on a bouquet from local florist Two Boots Farm.

Update your reservation system
While planning how much food to order and what to serve the day, update your reservation dashboard to prepare for the rush ahead. Instead of getting overwhelmed, Tock’s large party features makes it easy to set deposits and adjust your floor plan for a smooth and efficient holiday. With that, Mother’s Day is made easy.
